Gigi walked down the fur-lined runway with sequined Jesus on her bellbottoms while other models donned the Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis and Michael Jackson. Jeremy Scott has always delighted the eyes with his collections as the Creative Director of Moschino, but with his own label he takes an even more provocative stance. Fishnets and textured bells were in abundance leading the way for a truly iconic show.
This season’s fashion seems to bring together 70s silhouettes with the bright color of the 80s and the addition of accessories from the 90s. With wispy lashes and minimalist hair, the nail art was a bright point for beauty. As the first collaboration with the new Creative Ambassador for CND, Miss Pop, the nails were as brilliant and blazing as the designer’s intention.
Miss Pop created a shade of red that seemed to be lit from within. By layering 3 shades of red, a base of Banana Clips followed by Electric Orange and finished with an application of Wildfire (VINYLUX™ Weekly Polish), the combination came alive on the runway. Some nails even donned gold stars, as tribute to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with rising stars, co-starring stars and big bold stars in a gorgeous gold that perfectly accented the red with this almond shape nail.
