The 80s power woman was back and in full effect at the 2018 FW Alexander Wang show at NYFW. Hair accessories like the banana clip and Matrix-looking sunglasses ruled the runway while all black everything with a few pops of color took over the wardrobe palette. When models weren’t wearing black studded gloves (these were absolutely delish btw), their hands, specifically their nails took on a minimal look.
The “modern CEO” was the muse behind the show and to show this off, Rita Remark for essie used barely-there shades with hints of sheen to elaborate the strobing effect seen on cheekbones and the chrome accents within the collection. “Anything but traditional –This is a modern empowered woman,” said Remark. “She’s rewriting the rules of what it means to look and behave like a CEO.” Follow along below to get the look and see stunning shots of behind the scenes.
