The Autumn/Winter 2018 NYFW runways provided endless inspiration for the months ahead—and nails were no exception. The good news? While the fall and winter ensembles may not be season-appropriate quite yet, models sported au courant polish shades that are begging to be worn during the spring. Check out the three hues to stock up on now.

Though rich jewel tones usually look best during the fall months, this regal aqua shade offers serious mermaid vibes—ideal for spring vacations to exotic destinations. To achieve the look, nail artist Holly Falcone used two Orly shades: Royal Navy, topped with It’s Up To Blue. The best part? The nails were inspired by main character Hailee (played by actress Lindsey Lohan) in the teen cult classic film The Parent Trap.

Nail artist Miss Pop gave models neon animal print tips to match the designer’s colorful fall collection. Though all of the vibrant shades looked fresh and modern, Pop’s standout polish selection was Essie Play Date, a soft purple hue that looked fun and flirty—and perfect for spring.

Spotted at…Roland Mouret
Flesh-tone tips usually make a couple appearances on the Fashion Week runways, but the nude nails spotted at Roland Mouret walked the line between nude, beige and gray. The gorgeous muted hue proved to be a flattering shade on models of all skin tones, making it the must-have nude to add to your collection.
