The Unicorn Frappuccino was a bust. Unicorn nails, on the other hand, are a huge hit at the moment and we can’t get enough, From rainbow holographic glitter that would make even Lisa Frank jealous to artfully sculpted unicorn horns, unicorn nails are what childhood dreams are made of. Take a peek at our favorite takes on the whimsical trend and let your creativity take flight.
To create the unicorn horn nail, paint diagonal strokes of gel polish across the nail, making sure to apply a couple of coats in order to create an embossed look. Cure the gel polish, then, apply a holographic or loose glitter powder over the entire nail and finish with gel top coat, making sure that the top coat doesn't settle into the grooves of the nail.

For those with a steady hand, try creating a hand-painted unicorn accent nail. The key to achieving a “realistic” look is to play around with shadows. After painting the design, use black and white polish strokes to add dimension and contrast to your design.
Looking for a time-friendly take on the trend? Try stamping a unicorn design over holographic polish. Quick tip: Be picky with your base coats when applying holographic polish. Some base coats may cause the color to stick to certain areas on the nail, resulting in a patchy, uneven application.

This one is for all you ’90s babies. Remember those Lisa Frank notebooks and folders? It’s finally time to recreate that iconic neon look on your tips. Loads of glitter, electric pinks and purples and a rainbow mane are a must!
Not the best with hand-painting? Who cares! You can still give off major unicorn vibes with perfectly placed rhinestones, charms and a girly set of lashes. Don’t forget to finish off your design with chunky glitter to solidify your playful look.
